Tasting Notes

Nose
Decadent aromas of honey-drizzled red apple and caramelised orange peel. Luscious tones of smooth, melted chocolate and toffee fudge are harmoniously
balanced by the heightened woodland spices including nutmeg, cinnamon and sandalwood. The rich and nutty undertones further accentuate the savoury nature of this wonderfully complex whiskey.

Taste
Sweet orchard fruits with subtle hints of citrus are closely followed by generous waves of vanilla, chocolate shavings and soft wood tannins, complementing the pot still spices and delicate herbs. The spices continue to build with notes of freshly crushed pepper and a mild prickle of chilli oil, while carefully balanced by the textured and full-bodied character of this aged pot still whiskey.

Finish
Lasting finish which sees the fruits slowly fading, leaving the pot still spices and chestnut wood have the final say.

Local & Nationwide Delivery

Certain fragile or high-risk items are not suitable for nationwide delivery due to the risk of breakage. These products are marked with:

"Not Available for NATIONWIDE delivery. Only Available for COLLECTION or LOCAL DELIVERY"

If such a product is mistakenly ordered for nationwide delivery, it will be refunded automatically by the store, and this will be noted on your receipt. If you have any questions, please contact the store directly.

International Delivery Terms

We offer international shipping to select countries where the import of alcohol is legally permitted. Customers are responsible for checking whether alcohol can be imported into their country.

By placing an international order, you agree to the following:

• You are of legal drinking age in your country of residence.

• You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees charged by your country’s authorities.

• You understand that your package may be delayed, returned, or confiscated by customs if alcohol import is restricted in your region.

• No refunds will be issued for goods refused or seized at customs.

• Returned shipments due to customs issues, unpaid duties, age restrictions, or incorrect delivery information may incur additional fees.

We do not ship alcohol to countries where it is prohibited, orders to restricted destinations will be cancelled and refunded.

Packaging, Breakages & Liability

We use secure, protective packaging for all alcohol deliveries. Despite our best efforts, breakages or delays may occur, particularly during international transit or customs inspection. 

Once your order has been dispatched, the risk of loss or damage passes to you as the customer. 

Returns Policy

Local Delivery Returns

All local deliveries must be inspected at the time of receipt. If any part of your order is incorrect, damaged, or otherwise unacceptable, it must be returned immediately to the delivery driver. The driver will notify the store, and a refund will be processed accordingly.

Nationwide Delivery Returns

If your order was delivered incorrectly, damaged, or faulty through nationwide delivery, please contact the store you purchased from directly to arrange a return or refund.

Each Carry Out Off Licence store is independently responsible for the orders it fulfills at both local and national levels.

International Delivery Returns

Please note:
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for international orders, except in the case of a proven fault or error on our part.

Due to the nature of cross-border logistics and customs regulations, all international sales are final. We cannot accept returns for:

• Change of mind or incorrect ordering

• Delays caused by customs processing

• Packages refused, held, or confiscated by customs

• Non-payment of import duties or local taxes by the recipient

• Items opened, damaged, or tampered with after delivery

If your international order arrives damaged or with missing items, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with clear photographic evidence and a copy of your delivery documentation. We will assess claims on a case-by-case basis and advise on any next steps.
