Please read the below terms & conditions which outline your use of the Carry Out Off Licence website – www.carryout.ie (the ‘Site’). By continuing to use our site, you agree to the terms set out below and also confirm that you are above the Irish legal age to purchase and consume alcohol which stands at 18 years of age. Persons under the legal age to purchase and consume alcohol in Ireland are not permitted to browse, purchase, receive, or subscribe to any products or services provided by the site.

Intellectual Property refers to all materials and features on the Site including but not limited to images, text, illustrations, designs, logos, icons, videos, all copyrights, trademarks, and other content and intellectual property owned and controlled by us or our suppliers (‘the Content’). You may download or copy the Contents and other downloadable materials available on the site for personal use only. Downloading any content does not transfer any right, title, or interest to you. You may not reproduce, publish, transmit, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell, or exploit in any way the Content of the Site.

Carry Out Off Licence Online

When you shop online with Carry Out Off Licence, you are purchasing goods that will be delivered by your local store (‘the Store’) which you will be prompted to nominate at your initial product choice. Your order is sent to the Store to be fulfilled, picked up at the Store then delivered to your selected place of address. Please refer to the Delivery & Collections page for more information on Delivery from the Store.

Carry Out Off Licence does not set specific time limits for your access or use of this site. However, we reserve the right to suspend or remove your access and use at any time and may exercise this right with or without prior notice. You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or your rights of access to the Site. 

Carry Out Off Licence Marketing Communications

We at Carry Out Off Licence do not share any data you provide through the use of the website without your expressed consent to do so. When you subscribe to our email marketing, you are giving us consent to share your information with a third-party email provider service. This email provider then uses your information to accurately send you offers, products and information of legitimate interest to you based on your shopping habits through carryout.ie. The below information is what we send to our email provider once you have consented to do so:

  • Your Email Address
  • Your Name
  • Your previous purchases and activity on the website

Similarly to email marketing, SMS marketing is only available to those customers who have given their consent to receive messages from Carry Out Off Licence. Our SMS Marketing platform uses your account information to accurately send you offers, products, and information of legitimate interest to you based on your shopping habits through carryout.ie The below information is what we send to our email provider once you have consented to do so:

  • Your Phone Number
  • Your Full Name
  • Your previous purchases and activity on the website

Should you wish to unsubscribe from email marketing, SMS marketing, or both, you can do so here in Your Account. Alternatively, you can use the unsubscribe option in the email or SMS marketing you have received from us.  

Delivery & Collection Terms & Conditions

Carry Out Off Licence operates a franchise Off Licence model with each store owned by proud members of your local community. Therefore, each Store has sole responsibility to fulfill delivery requests, returns, exchanges, and cancellations. Each store has the right to set its delivery rates and these are displayed at the checkout section of the Site once the Store has been nominated for delivery.

Deliveries are typically made on the same day of order except national delivery, however, during extremely busy times the Store may wish to extend this period. In the case where this occurs, the Store will notify you directly via email or over the phone.

Should you wish to cancel your order, please refer to the Store contact details that will be available on your order email. Orders are only eligible for cancellation before dispatch. Once dispatched for delivery, orders will be classed as fulfilled and your payment taken by the Store.

General Website Terms & Conditions

In the event of a shortage of a particular product or item, we reserve the right to substitute with goods of a similar or higher value and quality.  An example of this is if you purchase "Heineken 500ml 8 Pack", an item that the store selected for delivery has a sudden shortage of, they may replace it with "8 x Heineken 500ml" cans.

Mistakes on product listings will be eligible for a full refund. You may return the products for a substitute of equal or lesser value. When the value is less than the original products a refund for the balance will be given.

All prices on the site are displayed including VAT.

Website offers are available at participating stores only. The list of stores participating can be found at the top of our Store Locator Page. A store that is presented with an offer on the website that is not connected may refuse to honor said offer.

Pricing on the Site can vary from in-store prices. Not all promotions available on the Site will be available in the Store.

All goods are the property of the Carry Out Off Licence until all debt to the Store has been paid in full.

Complaints & Queries

Should you have any issues with the Store or comment about the delivery service they provide, please contact Carry Out Off Licence directly via the email “cheers@carryout.ie” with your issue in the subject heading. Please include your full name, contact email & contact phone number along with your complaint or query and the store it relates to so we can decide best how to contact you to resolve your query.

General Competition Terms & Conditions

Information submitted to carryout.ie or blog.carryout.ie for competitions is kept and solely used to contact you if you have won once the completion deadline passes. After that date, your information is removed from our records. In the case where we request to keep your contact information to send you email marketing, you will be prompted to allow this at the point of entry for your information. Carry Out Off Licence will not keep any consumer data once a competition deadline has passed.

All competitions will have one winner unless the prize is multiple. The winner will be contacted either through social media messaging or by email. If you do not reply to us within 7 days we will choose another winner.

Competition Terms & Conditions 

  1. This Promotion is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 21 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, its agents and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.  
  1. Please note that while we want to encourage you to participate and enjoy the benefits of the Promotion we believe in responsible consumption of alcohol and we ask that you always drink responsibly.  
  1. Promotion Period: Enter between 00:01 on the 23rd June 2025 and 23:59 on the 21st July 2025 inclusive. 
  1. To Enter: Complete the online form available at: Enter Here providing all relevant details (full name and email address). 
  1. Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person per week during the Promotion Period. No person may win more than 1 Prize. 
  1. The Prize: One winner will win 1 x pair of general camping tickets (total, two (2) tickets) to ATN 2025 (taking place at the Cuarraghmore Estate, Co. Waterford, Ireland on 31st July – 3rd August 2025). 
  1. Further Prize Details and Conditions:  
  1. The Prize is valid for the winner and 1 guest. 
  1. Any guests attending with the winner must also be over 21 years of age and may be subject to age verification.  
  1. The winner is responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guests whilst attending ATN 2025. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or their guests from participation in any aspect of the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or if the winner and/or their guests act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the event/venue. 
  1. The winner and their guest must abide by any relevant terms and conditions which form part of the Prize. Whilst at the event/venue, they must not: be under the influence of drugs, be abusive, threatening, make or incite racial abuse, chant, use offensive language, make obscene gestures, throw items, behave anti-socially, carry laser pens, bring animals (except guide dogs), carry offensive weapons or illegal substances, carry candles, climb any structure, make excessive noise, offer any item for sale, damage the venue or smoke. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the event/venue. 
  1. The winner and their guest must abide by any relevant terms and conditions set by the venue/s which form part of their Prize. It is their responsibility to ensure that they take care when moving around the event/venue.    
  1. The winner will not be entitled to any compensation and will have no claim against the organisers if ATN 2025 is delayed, postponed, rescheduled or cancelled. 
  1. If for any reason the event is not capable of running as planned, such as cancellation or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which affects the running or conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion not reimburse any incurred expenses by the winner as a result of winning or accepting the Prize. 
  1. Once tickets have been issued, the Promoter, will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, illness of a performer or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter. 
  1. All elements must be taken as part of the same Prize package.  
  1. Once tickets have been issued, they are only valid for dates and times shown. No alternatives are available.  
  1. Transfers to ATN 2025 are not included.  
  1. The winner and their guest must travel together in all instances.  
  1. It will be the winner’s and their guest's responsibility to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken.  
  1. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include travel/transportation, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs. 
  1. The winner must inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or any similar access needs. 
  1. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from a computer-generated ballot. 
  1. Winner Notification: Provisionalwinners will be contacted via the email address provided on entry within 5 working days of the competition end date, and will be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winners. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the provisional winner will be confirmed as a winner. If a provisional winner does not respond to the initial contact within five (5) days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond. 
  1. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority Ireland when requested. 
  1. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance. 
  1. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry/ies (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to: 
  1. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed. 
  1. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.  
  1. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator. 
  1. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means. 
  1. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, multiple SIM cards for text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means. 
  1. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process. 
  1. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.  
  1. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion. 
  1. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason a Prize or any element of a Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize or element of the Prize for another of equal or greater value. 
  1. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the entry page. 
  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.  Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence. 
  1. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances. 
  1. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used for the purpose of this Promotion and for research and analytical purposes by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion and will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available on request. 
  1. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect. 
  1. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 
  1. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.  
  1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
