We know of no brand produced by any other brewer which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood Aging produces a taste a smoothness and a drinkability you will find in no other beer at any price. Known as ""The King of Beers"" Budweiser was first introduced by Adolphus Busch in 1876 and it's still brewed with the same high standards today. Budweiser is a medium-bodied flavorful crisp American-style lager. Brewed with the best barley malt and a blend of premium hop varieties it is an icon of core American values like optimism and celebration. Golden color with a subtle honey aroma and a trace of citrus punctuated by notes of malt and noble hops. A perfectly balanced full-flavoured lager with a crisp clean and fast finish. Budweiser supports British farmers sourcing 75% of it's malted barley locally and aiming to reach 100% of British barley by 2020. Food Pairing: Complements rich aromatic spicy and smokey foods such as chili BBQ ribs grilled chicken and beef. With slightly more body and alcohol intensity than a light lager Budweiser can stand up against a bit more flavour. However it's most perfectly matched with medium/low intensity fatty and fried food that are a staple of most menus. Home-Run Pairing: Hamburger and Chips The American classic of Hamburger and chips are a match made in heaven for an ice cold American lager like Budweiser. Due to the fatty nature of this dish it can easily become stodgy and boring however Budweiser's high carbonation cleanses the palate after each bite. The slight grainy and bready notes pair nicely with a toasted burger bun whilst the sweetness from the ketchup will be matched by the beers malts but kept in check by the slight bitterness.

Local & Nationwide Delivery

Certain fragile or high-risk items are not suitable for nationwide delivery due to the risk of breakage. These products are marked with:

"Not Available for NATIONWIDE delivery. Only Available for COLLECTION or LOCAL DELIVERY"

If such a product is mistakenly ordered for nationwide delivery, it will be refunded automatically by the store, and this will be noted on your receipt. If you have any questions, please contact the store directly.

International Delivery Terms

We offer international shipping to select countries where the import of alcohol is legally permitted. Customers are responsible for checking whether alcohol can be imported into their country.

By placing an international order, you agree to the following:

• You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees charged by your country’s authorities.

• You understand that your package may be delayed, returned, or confiscated by customs if alcohol import is restricted in your region.

• No refunds will be issued for goods refused or seized at customs.

• Returned shipments due to customs issues, unpaid duties, age restrictions, or incorrect delivery information may incur additional fees.

We do not ship alcohol to countries where it is prohibited, orders to restricted destinations will be cancelled and refunded.

Packaging, Breakages & Liability

We use secure, protective packaging for all alcohol deliveries. Despite our best efforts, breakages or delays may occur, particularly during international transit or customs inspection. 

Once your order has been dispatched, the risk of loss or damage passes to you as the customer. 

Returns Policy

Local Delivery Returns

All local deliveries must be inspected at the time of receipt. If any part of your order is incorrect, damaged, or otherwise unacceptable, it must be returned immediately to the delivery driver. The driver will notify the store, and a refund will be processed accordingly.

Nationwide Delivery Returns

If your order was delivered incorrectly, damaged, or faulty through nationwide delivery, please contact the store you purchased from directly to arrange a return or refund.

Each Carry Out Off Licence store is independently responsible for the orders it fulfills at both local and national levels.

International Delivery Returns

Please note:
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for international orders, except in the case of a proven fault or error on our part.

Due to the nature of cross-border logistics and customs regulations, all international sales are final. We cannot accept returns for:

• Change of mind or incorrect ordering

• Delays caused by customs processing

• Packages refused, held, or confiscated by customs

• Non-payment of import duties or local taxes by the recipient

• Items opened, damaged, or tampered with after delivery

If your international order arrives damaged or with missing items, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with clear photographic evidence and a copy of your delivery documentation. We will assess claims on a case-by-case basis and advise on any next steps.
