Redbreast 15 Year Old is a Single Pot Still whiskey from the renowned Midleton Distillery Country Cork Ireland. Celebrating the tradition of single pot still Irish whiskey Redbreast 15 years old is round aromatic and sophisticated. Unique among whiskeys Redbreast 15 Year Old comprises exclusively of pot still whiskeys which have been triple distilled and matured in oak casks for not less than 15 years. With a great degree of ageing it is richer earthier and stronger than its 12 year old sibling. Redbreast 15 displays the characteristic full and complex flavour of pot still whiskey. Matured in sherry casks for not less than 15 years the legendary sherried Redbreast style is a joy to behold in each and every bottle. Single Pot Still Whiskey is unique to Ireland. It is regarded as the quintessential style of Irish whiskey safeguarded and nurtured under the watchful eye of the Midleton Distillery for almost two hundred years. Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills. Pot Still Irish whiskeys are characterised by full complex flavours and a wonderful creamy mouthfeel. Redbreast 15 Year Old was awarded numerous accolades in 2019. These included a gold medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition the International Wine & Spirits Competition. It also scored 93 points from the Beverage Testing Institute and 95 points from TIWM achieving gold status in both. It also achieved 95/100 in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge achieving the Tried & True award.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Full and rich with a complex yet balanced mix of berry fruits and aromatic oils. Taste: Fully round and mellow with the succulence of fleshy fruit combined with spices and toasted wood. Finish: Long and sophisticated.

Delivery Info

Age Verification – Are You Over 18?

Customers must be over 18 years of age to purchase or receive alcoholic products from carryout.ie. Our delivery drivers are instructed to request proof of age from any recipient who appears to be under the age of 25.

Accepted Forms of Identification

We accept the following valid, in-date identification documents:

  • Garda Age Card

  • Irish or International Passport

  • Public Services Card

  • Driver's Licence

Failure to produce valid ID at the time of delivery will result in your order being returned to the store, and a refund issued for the alcohol portion of your order. Delivery fees may not be refunded.


National & International Product Restrictions

Local & Nationwide Delivery

Certain fragile or high-risk items are not suitable for nationwide delivery due to the risk of breakage. These products are marked with:

"Not Available for NATIONWIDE delivery. Only Available for COLLECTION or LOCAL DELIVERY"

If such a product is mistakenly ordered for nationwide delivery, it will be refunded automatically by the store, and this will be noted on your receipt. If you have any questions, please contact the store directly.

International Delivery Terms

We offer international shipping to select countries where the import of alcohol is legally permitted. Customers are responsible for checking whether alcohol can be imported into their country.

By placing an international order, you agree to the following:

  • You are of legal drinking age in your country of residence.

  • You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees charged by your country’s authorities.

  • You understand that your package may be delayed, returned, or confiscated by customs if alcohol import is restricted in your region.

  • No refunds will be issued for goods refused or seized at customs.

  • Returned shipments due to customs issues, unpaid duties, age restrictions, or incorrect delivery information may incur additional fees.

We do not ship alcohol to countries where it is prohibited, orders to restricted destinations will be cancelled and refunded.


Packaging, Breakages & Liability

We use secure, protective packaging for all alcohol deliveries. Despite our best efforts, breakages or delays may occur, particularly during international transit or customs inspection. 

Once your order has been dispatched, the risk of loss or damage passes to you as the customer. 


Returns Policy

Local Delivery Returns

All local deliveries must be inspected at the time of receipt. If any part of your order is incorrect, damaged, or otherwise unacceptable, it must be returned immediately to the delivery driver. The driver will notify the store, and a refund will be processed accordingly.

Nationwide Delivery Returns

If your order was delivered incorrectly, damaged, or faulty through nationwide delivery, please contact the store you purchased from directly to arrange a return or refund.

Each Carry Out Off Licence store is independently responsible for the orders it fulfills at both local and national levels.

If you encounter an issue and the store is unwilling or unable to provide a satisfactory resolution, you may escalate your query to Carry Out Head Office using our Contact Form.


International Delivery Returns

Please note:
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for international orders, except in the case of a proven fault or error on our part.

Due to the nature of cross-border logistics and customs regulations, all international sales are final. We cannot accept returns for:

  • Change of mind or incorrect ordering

  • Delays caused by customs processing

  • Packages refused, held, or confiscated by customs

  • Non-payment of import duties or local taxes by the recipient

  • Items opened, damaged, or tampered with after delivery

If your international order arrives damaged or with missing items, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with clear photographic evidence and a copy of your delivery documentation. We will assess claims on a case-by-case basis and advise on any next steps.
