Aged in Oloroso sherry, bourbon and port wine casks for a combination of rich fruitiness and malty nuttiness

The Bushmills 16 year old single malt is matured in three different woods. Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks are used for the first 16 years, before finishing in port wine barrels.

This unusual maturation gives our 16 year old its ruby red colour and robust personality. Toffee and sweet spice are followed by praline, honey and toasted nut aromas and a deep finish with jammed berries and dark chocolate.
